Beaulieu Motor Museum Restaurant Refurbishment

Jacobs Joinery was proud to undertake a refurbishment of the restaurant at the Beaulieu Motor Museum in Hampshire.  Displaying a striking collection of over 280 cars and motorcycles, this award-winning museum is a popular attraction with families and motor enthusiasts alike.

The Brabazon restaurant and coffee shop is a place for visitors to relax with delicious hot food, snacks and homemade cakes.  Taking just eight weeks over spring 2024, our renovation was carried out with the aim of elevating the space's aesthetics and functionality.

Our expert team played a crucial role in enhancing the design of the restaurant.  European oak panelling and seating units were installed on either side of the staircase, the intricate woodwork creating a feeling of elegance and warmth.  Our goal was to design a cohesive and inviting area with plenty of space for visitors to relax.  The installation of planters and other curved seating areas further enhanced the design, contributing to a modern and sophisticated appearance.

Another highlight of the refurbishment was the main server counter.  We installed corrugated panelling and a marble worksurface, showcasing our expert craftsmanship and attention to detail.  Not only do these features add to the functionality of the counter but they also have visual appeal, making it a stunning focal point.

While carrying out the bespoke joinery aspects of the refurbishment, other elements were expertly crafted by AD Southern Limited, a Southampton-based construction company that is a leader in the carpentry industry.  The result of all our hard work was a beautifully renovated restaurant and cafe which acts as a practical and visually stunning space for visitors to enjoy refreshments.
